Most travel and tourism business are private sectors as their objective is to make a
profit for their business. The travel and tourism industry has the largest
employers which is 10%. Tourism is a major contribution to the economy as it
develops countries and countries rely on the tourism industry to bring the
foreign currencies and income in.

Public Sector
Public sector organisations are funded and owned
by the national and local government. The Aim of a public sector organisations
is to educate and inform customers so they then can provide a service for
them.

-Leisure Centres
-Passport Agency
Voluntary Sector
All of the voluntary sector organisations are charities or trusts. The
aim of the voluntary sector is to preserve, protect and promote their case.
Charities and trusts are mainly funded through their member’s entrance fees.
They do this by fundraising, sponsorship and donations. The employees that work
for this type of sector mainly do not get paid as it is voluntary work. However
managers will get a mixture of a payment.
